Basic vacuum cleaner

Step 2. How to use adhesive cleaner

Adhesive cleaners are recommended for removing hair that is difficult to remove even with a vacuum cleaner. There are long and short handles, so use them properly according to the situation. Just like a vacuum cleaner, roll from one direction as well as from the other. Products labeled for carpets are highly sticky and are suitable for uneven carpets, so use a special one.

Step 3. How to wipe

There is dirt on the pile that cannot be removed even if it is cleaned with a vacuum cleaner every day.

Sebum and sweat do not adhere when walking or lying down barefoot.

Keep your carpet clean by wiping it regularly.

Use a mild laundry detergent or baking soda for wiping.

・Baking soda water

Baking soda has the function of neutralizing and decomposing acidic stains, making it easier to remove. Oil stains are acidic, which is why using baking soda to remove oil stains will clean them. Oil stains and proteins are often the main components of stains on the pile, so make about 5% baking soda water, spray it on the carpet, and wipe it off with a towel.

・Neutral detergent for clothes​

Uses a commercially available dry mark laundry detergent. Make about 5% detergent and wipe it off in the same way as baking soda water. Wipe with a towel that has been wrung out tightly to finish. When wiping, change the surface from the four directions of the plus to make it evenly clean.

How to deal with Troubled dirt

1. Stain

The components of stains that do not adhere to carpets at home are roughly divided into water-soluble, oil-based, and mud.

Wipe from around the dirt toward the center of the dirt so as not to spread any dirt.

The remedy differs depending on what the stain is, but here we will tell you the typical remedy.

• Water-soluble stain 

Lightly presses from above with tissue paper or towel to transfer water. Please do not use any force or rubbing. Soak a towel with a diluted solution of neutral detergent, tap the surface lightly, transfer the dirt to the towel while changing the surface, and wipe with water to finish.

• Oily Stains

Soak up dirt with a towel. For solid ones, wipe off the dirt on the surface. Tap the surface with a towel squeezed with water to transfer the dirt to the towel. After wiping with a diluted solution of neutral detergent, wipe off dirt and detergent with a towel wrung out with water.

• Mud​

If there is a lot of water, lightly press it with a towel from above to transfer the water. Dry the mud with a dryer, loosen the dry mud with a toothbrush, and vacuum it.

2. Odor

The carpet may smell somehow. It's best to wash what you can wash, but if you can't, you're in trouble. Commercially available deodorants can be used as a temporary deodorant, but since the source of the odor has not been removed, it may become odorous again after a while, or the odor may be mixed and become more odorous. The method of carpet cleaning with sprinkling baking soda in powder form and vacuuming is often introduced, but it is not recommended. This is because baking soda gets into the base of the pile and is difficult to vacuum.

The recommended method is to soak a towel in a 5% solution of baking soda in lukewarm water and squeeze it tightly to wipe off the odorous part of the whole. By wiping with baking soda water, the dirt that causes the odor can be removed, so the odor can be eliminated or reduced. At this time, it is good to wipe from the direction of the plus while changing the surface of the towel. Wipe it off with a towel squeezed with water to finish.

3. Tick

It is said that four types of mites, dust mites, house dust mites, cheyletidae, and acarid mites, inhabit the house. Dust mites eat dust and human dirt, and they are blood-sucking cheyletidae that eat dust mites, acarid mites that eat food and tatami mats, and house dust mites that parasitize rats.

Most of the mites bitten by the cheyletidae are caused by the cheyletidae, and to exterminate the cheyletidae, it is necessary to firmly repel the dust mites that feed on them.

To get rid of dust mites, it is necessary to vacuum the dust, which is the food, and regularly clean the dust filter of the vacuum cleaner.

Mites breed actively in a temperature of around 68 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit (20 to 28 degrees Celsius) and a humidity environment of 60 to 80%, but they are vulnerable to high temperatures and die at 140 degrees Fahrenheit (60 degrees Celsius) or higher.
